Feed twice daily at the indicated dosage. The daily feeding amount is 100 lbs (45 kg), with approximately 1/4 cup (25 grams) added for every 10 lbs (4.5 kg).
Food intake will vary depending on activity level, age, breed, and environment. A standard 8 oz/250 cc measuring cup holds approximately 3.9 oz/110 grams of Pure Vita™ Duck & Lentil Staple Dog Food. Puppies will naturally reduce their food intake around 5-7 months and 12 months of age. This is due to a natural slowdown in growth and a decrease in calorie requirements. If you believe your dog is underweight or overweight, please consult your veterinarian. Remember, it’s always important to provide your dog with clean, fresh water.
